Boosting the Salvation Army

First Choice America Community Federal Credit Union made a generous donation to the Weirton Salvation Army.  The funds donated were raised by a variety of First Choice America employee led fundraising events.  Scott E. Winwood, First Choice America President and CEO commented, “Our Credit Union Family is pleased to help the Salvation Army as they provide much needed assistance to families in our area.  They help alleviate many financial burdens faced by many of our neighbors, especially during and after the holiday season.”

Mobile Banking Enhancements

We are excited to announce the new version of our mobile app has arrived and you can update your First Choice America App today!   While we previously offered our Card Valet service through another app, we have integrated it into our mobile banking app.   Why is this important?   Card valet offers ways to protect your First Choice America credit and debit cards.  Some of the features include:

  • Lock and unlock your card on the app
  • View balances
  • Set up real time alerts to see when a transaction is made
  • Manage travel plans
  • Set up regional and international access
  • Set up purchasing limits
  • Chose locations, transaction types, spend limits
  • Set your PIN
  • Report lost or stolen

If you have Card Valet now, then your cards will automatically be carried over to the new version of the First Choice America App. This new version of our app will also feature the ability to set up and use Apple Pay! 

As always, we are excited to offer new enhancements to our Mobile App, which in turn provides our members more convenience.
